The International Whaling Commission (IWC) enacted a moratorium on commercial whaling in 1986, but Japan, together with Norway and Iceland, have since continued to brutally slaughter whales under the guise of "scientific research."
Please help to make sure that Japan realizes that the world wants to see a complete and permanent end to their whaling program by signing this petition to the Ambassador of Japan to Australia, Mr. Shigekazu Sato.

George
Energetic George is an adorable 9-year-old black male cat. He is independent and has lots of energy but is also very affectionate and likes to cuddle.
George’s guardian’s personal circumstances require her to find him a new home, but he has been deeply wanted, loved and cared for.
George really likes men so an ideal home would include at least one man. He lived with a cat a number of years ago and is open to one now - if he can be the alpha cat!
George still has his claws and is up-to-date on all of his shots. He lives in New York City and can be personally delivered to your home. As with all adoptions, there is an obligatory home-visit and reference-check.
Please contact Amber at anevens@yahoo.com or 646-241-0126 if you or anyone you know has room in their heart and home for George.
